Denise
Richards
Born on 17th of February 1972, in Downers Grove, Illinois,
Denise Lee Richards quickly went from an unknown to the highly
publicized Hollywood actress she is today. Her father Irv,
and mother Joni, owned a string of coffee shops called Jitters
and they relocated to Oceanside, California with Denise and
her younger sister when she was only 15 years old.
In 1989, Denise went on to graduate from El Camino High School
in Oceanside. After completing high school, she began to model
in Paris, Tokyo and New York, and became the makeup girl for
Bonne Bell cosmetics.
Although Denise made her first attempt at fame through modeling,
Denise felt that she wanted to more and began trying out for
parts in television shows and movies.
Acting came easily for Denise and she found much success
from the get go. Her first solid acting gig was on the popular
television weekly drama Life Goes On. After that, Denise began
appearing as a guest on popular shows such as Melrose Place,
Married... With Children, and Seinfeld.
It was her stint on Seinfeld that catapulted her into the
limelight. In the aforementioned episode, Denise played the
15-year-old daughter of the NBC executive that's about to
cut a deal with George (Jason Alexander) and Jerry (Jerry
Seinfeld), but because they got caught looking down her blouse,
the deal was lost.
In 1994, Denise starred in a film entitled Tammy and the
T-Rex and the made-for-TV movie Fifth Avenure. Then in 1997,
Denise co-starred in the popular film Starship Troopers.
In 1998, Denise starred in, Wild Things, opposite Neve Campbell
and Matt Dillon. Her sexy role in the film, not to mention
her little party for three, transformed Denise into one of
the most sought after celebrities.
Her next film, appropriately entitled Drop Dead Gorgeous,
was released in 1999, but did not see the same critical success
in theaters. More recently, Denise starred opposite Pierce
Brosnan in the James Bond film, The World Is Not Enough.
In the future, Denise is teaming up with talented buddies
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck in a movie entitled The Third Wheel
and will also star in the romantic comedy Good Advice with
renowned sex fiend Charlie Sheen.
It's quite evident that Denise is well on her way to becoming
one of Hollywood's hottest commodities and we look forward
to seeing her in every movie she stars in.
